MISSION STATEMENT

Moore’s Sanctuary Child Development Center provides an engaging environment in which children can recognize and fulfill their potential to become thinking, caring, productive and responsible individuals in our changing world.  We strive to provide the best learning and play environments, as well as the best out of home care for all children enrolled.

PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY

The program philosophy is based on meeting the developmental needs of children. We believe that all children go through predictable stages in their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth.  However, each child is an individual and progresses through each stage at different rates, and at different ages.  Our curriculum encourages this uniqueness by offering multi-age grouping, a stimulating hands-on environment and by allowing children to make their own choices.  Our curriculum  provides balanced teacher directed activities and circle time as well.

PARENTS

The center has an open door policy, which welcomes all visitors. Parents are an integral part of our child development center and we encourage their participation m field trips, programs, parent training workshops as well as birthday celebrations.

STAFF

We are a caring dedicated staff. All lead teachers have earned N.C. Child Care Credentials. The staff attends the required in service training along with enrollment in early childhood college courses.

The center has a licensing capacity of 80 children from age 6 weeks to 5 years. It also has a before and after school-age program for children 6 years old to 12 years old, providing quality care to families throughout the Charlotte area.
